Skype makes its way to Nokia Belle, sans video calling for now

3 Feb , 2012

Skype has finally made its way as an app to Nokia Belle, folks – a good deal of time after Nokia’s latest Symbian OS saw the world.

The popular messenger app sports an improved performance as well as improved look and feel compared to older Symbian versions – right in line with the Nokia Belle UI.

The application supports all the usual Skype functions, save for video calling capability. A future update however, should address this issue as well.

In case you are a Nokia Belle device owner and you have done this yet, you may go ahead and grab the app over here. Also, feel free to drop us a line on your impressions from it in the comments section below.

I don’t hope that symbian Belle users will ever taste video chatting on their devices because Skype seems to be interested only in Androids and iOSes. I have personally asked Skype team about future developments on symbian platform. They don’t replyand that thing leads me to believe that they have dumped this platform. I’m taking it as a very last update from Skype.

U r right, they don’t want to update that boring Symbian. Due to this boring matter all people transfer them android or iOSes.
