Nokia India has announced its Lumia 525 carrying a price tag of Rs. 10,399. The phone is available since yesterday in Orange, White, Yellow and Black colors. The notable change here from the previous iteration Nokia Lumia 520 is 1GB of RAM, addressing the one complaint that many people had with 512MB devices not begin able to run certain games.
And also the Nokia Lumia 1320 phablet has been launched at a price of Rs. 23,999 and its now available in Orange, White, Yellow and Black colors.
Nokia India just announced on their facebook page that Nokia Lumia 1020 PureView is available for pre-order! Pre-order starts at Rs. 49,999 (808USD approx)!
No doubt, Nokia Lumia 1020 an awesome device, but Rs 49,999 is too much for a device. If this is the final price after launch, I doubt they will be able to do sufficient sale.
Nokia Lumia 1020 is first WP8 device with 41 MP PureView camera and Xenon flash and it best known for it’s zoom capabilities, #ZoomReinvented. It sports 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 Dual Core processor and 4.5″ screen.
If you want to pre-order, head to Nokia’s official store: http://nokia.indiatimes.com/nokia/10020/p_B18930 . They are also giving Nokia WH-530 stereo headphone free (do you even care? )!

Quite late, but better late than never, Lumia 900 knocked on my door 2 weeks ago. I had the opportunity to try the Nokia Lumia 900 and I was curious, as I’ve been a user of Lumia 800 in the past. It was time to check out the big brother of Lumia 800 and see where it stands.
Lumia 900 was announced and launched in most of the countries, except the India (I never understood why!). Anyway, it was finally launched in India when everybody was waiting for Lumia 820/920.
Sales Package contains following items with Lumia 900:
Sadly, you’ll have to buy an adapter to plug of charger in our Indian sockets. The package also includes a SIM Door Key to open the SIM Door and pull out the microSIM tray.
Long awaited Lumia 620 is finally launched in India. It is available at the Nokia’s Online Store in partnership with IndiaTimes at http://nokia.indiatimes.com for Rs. 14,900 with discount. That’s a pretty good price.
Lumia 620 is low end WP 8 device. Lumia 620 sports SNAPDRAGON S4 1.0 GHz Dual Core processor and 512MB RAM. It has 3.8″ screen with 800×480 pixel resolution.
What do you think about the phone and it’s pricing? Good eh? Let us know in comments or at @NokiaTips 🙂
This online store has got the Lumia 920 in stock and selling at Rs. 36499, promising delivery in 3-5 business day. While they have Lumia 820 at Rs. 26499 . I have personally never used this online store before. Price, however, looks good compared to what other online stores have got with their coming soon tags.

What do you think about the price? IMO, it bit overpriced. Should have near 33k.
Regarding the date of launch, they the guy said, Lumia 820 and 920 will be launched on 1st week of the January and lowend Lumia 620 will be launched on the 4th week of the Jan. They have no details of the expected price but local stores of Pune are expecting it to be priced between Rs. 30k to Rs35k. It will be a great hit if they can price it near Rs. 30k.
As we already know that Lumia 920 does not support the TD-LTE band, which is being used in India, I asked him if 4G wont be available in India. He said, Indian launch will also ne followed by a software update which will enable the TD-LTE band. According to him, update will be rolled out as soon as the launch happens.
So are you getting one? Which one? 🙂
