Create a Quick App with OVI App Wizard

13 Jan , 2012

As usual, BIG cheers to @omaheshwar for giving us the idea to write on this topic. He was kind enough to send us a quick app he created for us which motivated our writing on this topic 🙂

You have probably been seeing a lot of apps that look similar to the one below in the Nokia Store? Most of them have cute names attached to them but end up serving the same kind of purpose. Have you ever wondered why they looked somewhat similar to the rest or how they were made? It might interest you to find out that those apps are created within 10 minutes online with OVI App wizard. How Possible? Keep reading to find out!

OVI App Wizard?

Yes! OVI app Wizard seems to be the order of the day nowadays for most web developers and non Geeks too. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a simple web based client that allows you to create nice Nokia “Quick Apps + Widgets” that synchronizes with your web content through your RSS feeds and displays those contents in a Nice way!

How does it work?

It makes use of RSS feeds. In order words, you’d be needing a website that offers the use of “feeds” just like ours here: http://nokiatips.in/feed/. FaceBook and Twitter equally offers RSS feeds of contents that are public. 🙂

How to?
The process is quite simple and fast too. Simply Visit http://go.nokiatips.in/AstLyv and create your quick app within seconds.

In Addition?
You have the BIG opportunity of getting your Quick App in the Nokia store after being verified by the admins.

GoodLuck with your First QuickApp. Please do share with us @NokiaTips once you’re done 🙂
