Nokia promise to upgrade all phones to Android P

Nokia’s parent company HMD Global, announced that every phone launched by it will be receiving Android P. All the phones released by HMD Global, from the Nokia 3 to the more recent Nokia 8 Sirocco will be receiving the update. The Android P update will also be pushed to the recently launched Nokia 5.1, Nokia 2.1 and the Nokia 3.1. Chorus and Nokia partner to create Optical Wavelength service

Nokia made an announcement stating Chorus will be trialing a new Optical Wavelength solution in the city of Auckland, New Zealand using its network infrastructure and commissioning solution. The network is supposed to be an Open network that can cater to on-demand service requirements for users. Nokia and Osram partner to create indoor 5G networks using lights

In a recent interview, Nokia and Osram announced that there was collaboration between the two companies to create indoor lighting capable of boosting 5G signals indoors. Nokia is providing its Networking capabilities whereas Osram would be providing its expertise in the world of lights and  its manufacturing capabilities for this project. HMD Global, the manufacturers of Nokia phones raise USD 100 Million

HMD Global, the Finnish company that currently manufactures and sells Nokia phones worldwide raised a total of USD 100 Million from different investors. The funding was led by Ginko Ventures, which is a Geneva based venture fund. Other investing parties included Wonderful Stars and DMJ Asia.
